AEP Texas Company, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring an entry-level Material Services Assistant to support material accountability, storeroom operations, and storage yards.

The role offers on-site duties with supervision and a path from assisting with tasks to performing them independently as knowledge increases. You will use Maximo and basic MS Office, perform packing, shipping, and receiving, and help maintain stock through regular cycle counts.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control/warehousing experience required.
• Basic computer skills; Maximo; Excel and Word preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and pass the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Valid state driver license; CDL within six months if required.
• Ability to work independently with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Issue material under proper authorization and process records.
• Inspect received material for quantity, identity, and condition; process material receipt records.
• Identify, sort, and record material returned; store usable material and scrap non-usable material.
• Operate inventory management systems and office equipment (computers, printers, scanners).
• Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage; prepare shipping papers; handle hazardous materials per procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.).
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels via cycle counts and location updates.
