Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a Stores Clerk - Receiving to ensure accurate recording and handling of incoming goods, maintaining data integrity in hospital systems, and preserving audit-ready documentation. This role supports timely supply availability for clinical teams and helps drive efficient storeroom operations.

Key duties include stocking, rotation, and cycle counting, with familiarity of Workday preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in data entry, receiving, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday or similar inventory management systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift packages exceeding 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and manage incoming goods, ensuring data integrity within hospital systems and maintaining proper documentation for audit and compliance.
• Assist in the storeroom or warehouse with stocking, rotation, and cycle counting activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify process efficiencies in line with Logistics goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Logistics.
