Job summary

Dominion Energy in Goose Creek, SC is seeking an entry-level Storeroom Associate to issue/receive materials and manage inventory using the plant's computer systems.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft applications.
• SAP and Maximo experience is preferred.
• Prior storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience is preferred.
• This position requires heavy lifting (minimum 50 lbs.).
• Candidate should be mechanically and electrically inclined with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive materials for the plant via the computer system.
• Manage inventory and issue/receive goods.
• Purchase and acquire materials within prescribed limits.
• Handle safety equipment.
• Support corporate accounting, supply chain management and storerooms across the company.
