Job summary

CraftMark Bakery, LLC is seeking a Storeroom Specialist to manage plant asset storerooms and optimize spare parts stock in Indianapolis. You will handle inventory valued over $4.5MM, support maintenance and procurement, and ensure CMMS data integrity and 5S standards.

You will coordinate with Maintenance Planner Scheduler to prevent material gaps, perform regular cycle counts, and negotiate with local vendors for favorable pricing while maintaining strict SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in production or manufacturing.
• CMMS data entry and maintenance experience.
• Strong inventory control and cycle-counting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Flow Management: own stock movements, receipts, and checkout tied to plant work orders.
• CMMS Integrity: standardize descriptions, update part numbers, tag assets.
• Cycle Counting & Audits: lead regular counts and reconcile variances.
• Vendor & Procurement: create requisitions, source parts, negotiate pricing.
• Planning & Kitting: align with maintenance planner to reserve parts.
• Inventory Optimization: set min/max, ABC classifications, purge obsolete stock.
• 5S & Workplace Organization: maintain secure, clean storerooms per SOPs.
