Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass HealthCare, is hiring for a full-time Storeroom Attendant at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role covers receiving, storage and inventory management of supplies and food, with attention to sanitation and safety in storage areas.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–5:30 pm with some Saturdays. Previous related experience is preferred, and pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in storeroom or inventory roles preferred.
• Knowledge of storage guidelines and HACCP practices preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and security procedures.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores and inventories departmental supplies and foodstuffs.
• Stores items in correct containers and storage areas per guidelines.
• Maintains temperature records for perishable items.
• Dates and rotates stock, using oldest first.
• Orders food and supplies per established protocols.
• Secures storeroom areas and follows security procedures.
• Transports items to ensure safe delivery.
• Follows HACCP guidelines in receiving and distributing supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs for equipment.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Uses cleaning chemicals per MSDS and safety procedures.
• Performs other assigned duties.
