American Electric Power is looking for an entry-level Material Services team member in Michigan to assist with material accountability and storage operations. You will gain hands-on experience with material reception, inspection, and recording, while learning to use Maximo and standard office software.

Under supervision, you will grow in duties from assisting with material handling to independently managing routine tasks and contributing to accurate inventory control and safe shipping practices.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, or related field.
• Basic computer skills; Maximo experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with material accountability and storage operations.
• Operate warehouse equipment and support shipments and material handling.
• Perform receiving, inspection and recording of materials.
• Prepare packing and shipping papers for material movement, including hazardous materials handling under safety procedures.
• Support inventory cycle counts and discrepancies with proper approvals.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to maintain organized storage and accurate locations.
