Job summary

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Hawaii is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to stock and issue storeroom merchandise and beverages. You’ll assist in inventory, report shortages or spoilage, and ensure items are stored, labeled, dated, and rotated.

Basic computer skills and use of storekeeping software are required. Responsibilities include retrieving deliveries, delivering items to outlets, keeping the storeroom clean, assisting with inventories, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English to complete requisitions and identify products.
• Must be able to count to complete requisitions and perform inventory.
• Department of Health TB clearance.
• Forklift training and certificate needed to operate forklift.
• Driver’s license when operating company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve deliveries from loading dock.
• Fill requisitions and deliver items to outlets, ensuring items are correct and not spoiled/damaged.
• Keep storeroom, including freezer and refrigerators, organized, labeled, dated and rotated.
• Input information on items received and issued into the storekeeping program.
• Secure storeroom and equipment at the end of the day.
• Assist with inventories as assigned.
• Properly discard cardboard boxes or other items designated for recycling.
• Operate equipment following safety procedures and policies.
