Job summary

Torrance Memorial is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Handler to receive, store, issue and deliver supplies and equipment on site at the Medical Center in Torrance, CA.

You will verify incoming shipments, stock shelves, fill internal supply orders, and support user departments with timely deliveries while ensuring safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks. Two years of related experience and a CA Class C license are required or obtained within the first six months.

Qualifications

• Receives and checks shipments against packing lists, requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Stocks shelves per departmental procedures.
• Fills orders for user departments.
• Loads and delivers supplies to the Medical Center in a timely, courteous manner.
• Picks up equipment and supplies for return to the warehouse.
• Answers telephones and responds to user department requests for assistance.
• Operates forklift, pallet jack, delivery truck and ladders safely per policy.
