Job summary

Torrance Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced warehouse associate responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment on campus. You will ensure accuracy against packing lists, requisitions, and purchase orders while maintaining safe operating procedures.

The role requires 2 years of warehouse experience and a valid California Class C driver’s license (or plan to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse/shipping.
• Valid CA Class C driver's license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming supplies and verifies that the merchandise received matches the packing list, requisition, and purchase order.
• Stocks shelves according to procedure.
• Fills orders from user departments for supplies.
• Loads truck and delivers supplies to the Medical Center in a timely and courteous manner.
• Picks up equipment and supplies from the Medical Center for return to the Warehouse.
• Answers the telephone and responds to user department requests for assistance.
• Uses equipment including forklift, pallet jack, delivery truck and step ladders in a safe manner according to policy.
