Responsibilities of the Storeroom Clerk include, but are not limited to:
- Issue parts upon request to Maintenance and Production staff
- Experience in MRO, Maintenance and Industrial parts
- Receive shipments, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations
- Follow appropriate safety procedures
- Cycle count and research variances to insure inventory accuracy
- Issue parts in computer inventory system, maintaining inventory accuracy and bin locations
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment in your area of responsibility
- Any other activity directed by the Site Manager
Qualifications of the Storeroom Clerk position include, but are not limited to:
- 6 plus months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Previous SAP experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with on-site team members
Additional Information
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Working Conditions: The candidate must be able to work in an industrial environment with the possibility of exposure to heat, noise, and dirt.
Training/Certifications: Forklift a plus
Shift Time/Overtime: 2nd shift. 2pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday with Friday and Saturday off.
Education: High School diploma
