• Experience with inventory management, unloading and stocking inventory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and maintains necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and storage areas according to guidelines to prevent spoilage.
• Maintains records of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock using the oldest product first approach.
• Orders food and supplies according to company protocols.
• Secures storeroom areas and follows safety procedures.
• Transports food and supplies safely for delivery and storage.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines for receiving and distributing supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs of equipment and completes required reports.
• Follows safety directions for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
