Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking a Storeroom Attendant for an onsite assignment in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. You will receive materials, stock shelves, pull orders and help keep inventory accurate in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. This temp-to-hire role requires basic computer skills and a valid driver license, with work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Starting November 8, 2026, one opening. You may lift up to 35 pounds and must pass a straightforward screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license; may need to drive if converted to full time.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away incoming materials, check for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label and store items to maximize space efficiency.
• Issue products to employees and maintain records of issued items.
• Enter inventory data and respond to stock level inquiries.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory maintenance.
• Request requisitions and log discrepancies for follow-up.
• Inspect tools/equipment for wear and deliver to locations.

Storeroom Attendant - Integrated Supply (LaCrosse, WI #3476)

Location: LaCrosse, Wisconsin

Shift/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 30 minute unpaid lunch

Pay/Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour

A fast-paced, safety-first industrial supply operation is hiring a Storeroom Attendant in LaCrosse. You will receive materials and put them away, stock shelves and pull orders. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with basic computer skills and a valid driver license.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension


• Work setting: onsite


• Openings: 1


• Anticipated start: November 8, 2026

Core Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away incoming product, tools and equipment, checking for damage and for discrepancies against invoices


• Sort, label, move and store items on racks, shelves and in bins in a set sequence, arranging storage to make the best use of space


• Issue product, tools and equipment to site employees and keep accurate records of items issued and returned


• Enter data in the inventory system to keep stock records current and respond to inquiries on inventory levels


• Perform cycle counts, assist with inventory level maintenance and report the results


• Request requisitions to replenish inventory and log discrepancies for management follow-up


• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, deliver them to work locations and locate lost or misplaced items

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver license (you may be required to drive once converted to full time)


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to lift 35 pounds


• 3 or more months of relevant experience or training (high school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required)


• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment


• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals


• Basic computer and math skills, or demonstrated aptitude to learn


• Strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and a safety-minded approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical skills with Microsoft Office, SX.e and Prophet 21 are preferred


• Steel toe shoes (toe covers can be provided if needed)


• Experience pulling and staging orders


• Warehouse or stockroom experience
