The Employee Connect is seeking a Storeroom Attendant for an overnight shift in Horicon, WI. You will manage inventory, issue parts, and assist with cycle counting in a fast-paced industrial supply environment. This temp-to-hire role requires reliability and the ability to operate on 3rd shift after training.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, data entry, and maintaining stock records. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear steel-toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away incoming product, tools and equipment; check for damage and discrepancies against invoices.
• Sort, label, move, and store items to optimize space.
• Issue product and maintain accurate records of issued/returned items.
• Enter data in the inventory system and respond to inventory inquiries.
• Perform cycle counts and report results for maintenance of inventory levels.
• Log discrepancies and requisitions to replenish inventory.
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear and locate missing items.

Storeroom Attendant - Integrated Supply (Horicon, WI #3446)

Location: Horicon, Wisconsin

Shift/Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM; overtime is rare

Pay/Compensation: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

About the Role

A fast-paced, safety-first industrial supply operation is hiring a Storeroom Attendant for the overnight shift inside a customer facility in Horicon. You will issue parts, assist with cycle counting and inventory, and keep the storeroom inventory accurate. After training, you will be the only associate on 3rd shift, so reliability is essential. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: immediate start

Core Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away incoming product, tools and equipment, checking for damage and for discrepancies against invoices
• Sort, label, move and store items on racks, shelves and in bins in a set sequence, arranging storage to make the best use of space
• Issue product, tools and equipment to site employees and keep accurate records of items issued and returned
• Enter data in the inventory system to keep stock records current and respond to inquiries on inventory levels
• Perform cycle counts, assist with inventory level maintenance and report the results
• Request requisitions to replenish inventory and log discrepancies for management follow-up
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, deliver them to work locations and locate lost or misplaced items

Required Qualifications

• Computer skills are required; you will learn 2 ERP systems and keep storeroom inventory correct
• Customer service skills (this is a customer-facing position)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion without assistance
• Steel toe shoes with internal metatarsal guards required
• 3 or more months of relevant experience or training (high school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required)
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Basic computer and math skills, or demonstrated aptitude to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and a safety-minded approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical skills with Microsoft Office, SX.e and Prophet 21 are preferred
• SAP or SX.e experience
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify parts and tools
• Experience using Excel to search a parts catalog

Work Environment

• Training Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, for 2 to 3 weeks
• Only associate on 3rd shift after training
• Stock point-of-use areas with janitorial supplies, and vending machines with small tools and protective equipment
• May use a pallet jack
• Overtime is rare
