An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team in Houston. This role involves ensuring the accurate delivery and inventory management of essential materials across various facilities. Delivers material to all METRO facilities as required. Ensures all orders are completed accurately, and on time. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in warehousing, shipping, and receiving, forklift operation, inventory control, and/or parts book/catalog usage.
General knowledge of transit vehicles/automotive parts, and materials handling equipment. Knowledge of computerized inventory control systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Able to maintain and/or obtain additional licensing or certifications as required. Requires basic level reading, math computation and language skills, validated by Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE).
