Position Summary

Join our exciting & dedicated team at Vallen as a Storeroom Crib Attendant. In this position, you will work at a customer's location to fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. You will also maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Unload, receive, and store incoming products and equipment; check for damage and discrepancies.
  • Sort, label, move, and store items efficiently; optimize storage space.
  • Issue products and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Enter data into computerized systems; respond to inquiries about inventory levels and delivery schedules.
  • Replenish inventory as needed; perform cycle counts and report results.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for damage; report issues.
  • Maintain inventory records and perform periodic inventory counts.
  • Deliver tools/equipment to work locations and locate lost items.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on tools/equipment as required.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months relevant experience or training.

Relevant Experience And/or Aptitude Should Include:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and moving goods; forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, work orders, and manuals.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS-Office and warehouse management software preferred.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Work may be in extreme hot or cold environments and dusty conditions.
  • May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
  • May require forklift certification.
  • Shifts may vary and include overtime, nights, weekends, with little notice.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more and work physically, including standing, walking, and other movements.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
