Clerk will make sure items are tagged with the proper GMI P/N.* Responsible for reorganization of the storeroom, and the bar coding of all items in the storeroom. Each clerk will be assigned a designated area of the storeroom to organize and maintain.* Keep storeroom organized, clean, and safe.* Aid in identification of slow moving, obsolete, and substandard inventory.* Track and communicate inventory shortage situations to the Buyer or Storeroom Manager.* Cycle count \"X\" amount of items and enter the data into the current inventory system. Investigate significant stock adjustments.* Inventory free-stock items, ex. Conduit, sheet metal, angle iron, etc.* Handle emergency orders.* Assist the Receiving Clerk.* Attend Plant Wide Communication Meetings and Safety Meetings as required.* Perform other functions for an efficient storeroom operation as assigned by the Storeroom Manager.* Attend meetings and training courses as required* Perform additional related tasks as assigned* Assist other plant areas as assigned
