PURPOSE
The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for the receiving of product, issuing parts out to maintenance technicians and cycle counting product on the storeroom shelves and warehouse management system. This position is a parts storeroom attendant within a manufacturing company in Boonville, MO. This is a Part-Time position working 25-29 hours per week, Monday-Thursday from 8am - 4pm. Hours and days may vary based on business needs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Match packing slips to product in boxes and ensure accuracy in product model number, quantity and quality.
Receive product in conjunction with team needs
Unload trucks when needed
Place product on correct shelf in the storeroom
Kit parts for specific work orders
Keep the storeroom clean and free of any clutter
Report inventory issues to Site Manager
Issue parts out to cost centers or work orders for manufacturing personnel
Straighten inventory as needed
Ensure each item is bar-coded as the need arises
Conduct regular inventory cycle counts
Ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy
Perform assigned tasks as given by the Site Manager
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions, and relay information
Ability to learn through both written word and online training
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
PHYSICAL DEMANDSSight, hearing, speech. Frequent lateral mobility; ability to get in and out of vehicles frequently and rapidly; frequent movement of items weighing more than 50 pounds; use of both hands and arms; frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, and reaching. Mental ability to analyze a situation and take the appropriate action under stress.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURSThis is a part-time position working 25-29 hours per week with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Specific hours and days may vary based on business needs.
