Job summary

• Complete deliveries by driving truck or van and adhere to delivery schedules
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks/ vans
• Maintain inventory controls by reporting missing or lost items
• Provide quality service by following organizational standards
• Keep shelves, pallets and workstations neat and orderly

This position works primarily in a warehouse environment. You will perform receiving functions, stock, pick/pack, and deliver medical supplies to UCLA Health’s hospital and ambulatory clinics. Responsibilities include:

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Incumbents will be required to operate warehouse equipment, drive forklifts, order pickers, and delivery trucks.
• Completes deliveries by driving truck or van and coordinates the timely delivery of supplies and equipment adhering to delivery schedule procedures.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and report any missing or lost inventory to management
• Provides quality service by following organization standards
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat

This is an “as needed” per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. Per Diem roles may convert to career. Pay rate: $27.96 hourly
