Job summary

University of South Alabama’s Education Office of Contracts and Grants is seeking a Storekeeper I to manage refurbishment of science kits and related materials. You will handle stocking and deliveries, maintain inventory, and support professional development events across multiple counties.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of clerical/storekeeping experience, and a valid driver’s license. Attending to safety and overtime as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clerical and/or storekeeping/stocking experience.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishes science kits using established procedures.
• Prepares training supplement kits for second grade professional development statewide.
• Accountable for refurbishment of science kits weekly and maintains a clean, safe work area.
