Job summary

The State of Iowa’s Woodward Resource Center is seeking a Storekeeper 2 to join our Nutrition and Supply Services team. This full-time role supports receiving, storing, and issuing facility supplies and perishable items in a busy depot environment.

You will work under the WRC umbrella, perform material handling with a forklift or pallet jack, and contribute to inventory controls while upholding safety and efficiency standards. This position offers reliable daytime hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time work experience in clerical, inventory, stores, supply, or warehousing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and place accurate orders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver orders including perishable items to internal customers.
• Receive and stock goods, ensure condition, and handle damaged items per procedures.
• Store goods using a forklift or pallet jack in designated areas.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and maintain depot records.
• Maintain the Supply Depot building, temperatures, cleaning, and security.
