Job summary

Walmart in Knoxville, TN is seeking a store leadership professional to drive team development and deliver exceptional customer service. You will lead operations, monitor performance, and guide associates through training and transformation initiatives to meet business objectives and improve customer experiences.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory and process controls, and collaboration with stakeholders to sustain sales growth and a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and listening to associates.
• Tours the store and provides feedback to improve operations.
• Communicates business objectives to teams and collaborates on store projects and transformations.
• Models customer service standards using the One Best Way (OBW) approach and supports community and outreach efforts.
