Responsibilities/Qualifications

As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’re pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. Providing exceptional, neighborly service at every opportunity during your workday, you will:

• Help neighbors select the perfect toy for a chewer
• Review and compare ingredient labels for pet food
• Fit pets with harnesses
• Educate children on bird ownership
• Stock shelves and ring up purchases
• Feed and care for in-store pets

While doing all this, you'll engage with neighbors and smile through puppy breath. You're more than awesome—you're PAWsome!

The Store Team Member may specialize in areas such as:

Cashier

• Processing purchases accurately and efficiently
• Sharing information about our Preferred Pet Club

Stocker

• Unloading deliveries safely
• Stocking shelves with pet products
• Carrying purchases to customers' cars

Pet Care

• Providing care for store pets
• Answering questions about animal care

This role can be physically demanding, involving heavy lifting (40-65 lbs.) and standing for long periods. We support learning through our Pet Degree programs. Ideal candidates will:

• Support each other
• Be knowledgeable about animals and products
• Be flexible with working hours
• Pass a drug screening (if applicable) and be 16 or older
