Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience with POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operations to meet sales targets preferred (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of outdoor hobbies and skills, with fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect with customers and build rapport; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and following instructions.
• Experience operating POS systems and related equipment (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies and skills, such as fishing, hunting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm sales and possession (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision.
• Adherence to company policies and work hours.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, lift (up to 60 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
• Visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay ranges from $15 to $23 per hour, depending on factors such as location, experience, and certifications. Additional premiums may apply. Team members may qualify for a benefits package and a 20% discount. Learn more at our benefits page.
