Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience with POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operations to meet sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of personal outdoor hobbies and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection only).

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, including bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Proficiency with basic math and following instructions.
• Experience operating POS systems, tools, and equipment (Cashier and Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Passion for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm sales (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.
