They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our Mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect with customers and build rapport; bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operation documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and coach others (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and manage inventory software (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies; knowledge of fishing, hunting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Maintain FOID card requirements (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficient in using basic tools and equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.

• Lifting up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Standing, handling, and repetitive motions required.
