Qualifications

They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly service, helping customers navigate our wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operations and sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of personal outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, with bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency with basic math and instructions in various formats.
• Experience with POS equipment and related systems (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Ability to meet federal and state firearm transaction requirements (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong situational awareness and emergency response skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform job duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.
• Lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and use hands and fingers constantly.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
