Job description

Our mission is to provide incredible service and help our customers live healthier, better lives through food. As a part of our sub shop team, you will create fresh sub sandwiches and other delicious products to serve customers throughout the day, while building rapport and encouraging repeat business. If you are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

What will I do?

1. Provide excellent customer service
2. Take and prepare customer orders accurately and promptly
3. Maintain the department's appearance by stocking, refilling, and rotating products throughout the day

Work Environment

The physical demands of this role are classified as medium. It involves walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting (5-15 pounds), occasional heavy lifting (up to 40 pounds), and continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced setting. The environment is indoors, with exposure to cold temperatures (33-55°F) and proximity to hot equipment (exceeding 135°F). Basic tools and equipment include ovens, slicers, proofers, and common kitchen utensils.

Qualifications

• Food preparation experience
• Customer service experience, preferably in food service, restaurant, grocery, or retail
