They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems, symbols, and phones preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certifications are a plus (Asset Protection only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection only).

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, including bilingual abilities a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and understanding written or diagrammed instructions.
• Operate POS, symbols, and phones (Cashier only).
• Ability to write routine reports (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order systems (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies and skills such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearms sales (Fishing and Hunting only).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness skills.
