Store - TAMPA-BRUCE B DOWNS, FL

Overview

Maintain a high standard of overall appearance and cleanliness of the store, including recovery standards, to deliver our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure they find what they need. Availability for early morning shifts on Thursdays is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
2. Dust and damp mop floors according to procedures.
3. Move equipment and products for cleaning and return products to correct placement.
4. Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, including preparing cleaning solutions as needed.
5. Deep clean high-traffic areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways to maintain a safe environment.
6. Keep cleaning equipment organized; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance.
7. Identify areas requiring cleaning and proactively complete tasks.
8. Perform all tasks assigned by supervisor in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
9. Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, embodying the organization’s values.
10. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for team members.

Additional Duties

• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash transactions according to standards.
• Engage with customers about Rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and planogram setup.
• Support shrink management and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure legal compliance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in retail and/or cleaning preferred.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching; ability to lift heavy items and use ladders.
• Work may include outdoor tasks, some outdoor work, and work in climate-controlled or non-controlled environments.
• Use of commercial cleaning chemicals and equipment.
