Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales, and model our values. You will coach staff, manage store operations in the manager's absence, and use customer feedback to enhance the shopping experience.

You’ll be responsible for opening/closing duties, visual merchandising, and fostering a culture of exceptional service and teamwork. A great start for a career in retail management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail.
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Ability to provide examples of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising (VM).
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas.
• Understand operational processes and costs awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales targets and explore sales opportunities.
• Be a role model of outstanding customer service and company values.
• Lead the implementation of seasonal layouts and visual guidelines in-store.
• Open and close the store.
• Upskill team members and provide regular feedback to drive performance.
