J.Jill, a women-led lifestyle brand with 200+ stores, seeks a passionate Assistant Store Manager to support store success. You will lead by example, build relationships with customers, and drive a profitable business while embracing our inclusive culture.

You will help hire and develop a high-performing team, analyze sales trends, coach staff, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Women’s Specialty Retail experience and at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to support and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Experience in analyzing business trends and executing action plans.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and merchandising.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage ambiguity.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Role model who builds strong customer relationships and supports community engagement to strengthen brand presence.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team; lead by example and coach for success.
• Drive store performance by analyzing sales trends, setting goals, and executing strategies while ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to provide personalized styling recommendations.
• Oversee daily store operations, inventory, floor sets, and visual merchandising per guidelines.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and support the Store Manager in store success.
• Communicate effectively across organization levels with appropriate messaging.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to help the store succeed.
