Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sr. Sales Leader in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory.
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.
- Organize the schedule for new hires to participate in the 6-week onboarding program.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new hires.
- Lead continuous training programs and ensure full participation (e.g., Chew on This, Wild Chef, Product Training, new processes).
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates.
- Conduct ongoing performance reviews.
- Monitor retail operating costs, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs.
- Analyze consumer behavior and propose product positioning to the Commercial team.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Research emerging products and update store merchandise accordingly.
- Create reports, analyze, and interpret retail data like revenues, expenses, and competition.
- Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and guidelines.
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, such as walk-in freezers.
- Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Move frequently within the store to access various departments and products.

Qualifications:
- Employed in current position for at least six months.
- Written confirmation of acceptable 360 evaluation signed by the manager, completed within 12 months prior to application.
- Maintain consistent performance with no active corrective actions.
- Successfully pass any required screening processes, including skills assessments and interviews.
- Previous retail supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to multi-task, stay attentive to customers, and remain flexible.
- Ability to work within a budget.
- Team player with initiative, capable of working independently.
- System capabilities: SAP, Order Management Systems, Microsoft Office.
- Work with integrity as part of a team towards a shared vision.
