Job Title: Store Stocker

Reporting To: Store Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

Division: Operations

Job Purpose: The Store Stocker is responsible for receiving and stocking automotive parts. The ideal candidate should be able to move and think quickly, bend at the waist and knees, and climb a short ladder to reach top shelves.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
2. Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
5. Mark materials with identifying information. Open boxes, crates, and other containers.
6. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
7. Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
8. Use computer to enter records.
9. Prepare parcels for mailing and shipment via common carrier.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Attention to detail
• 0-3 years experience in a warehouse
• Good to above-average computer skills
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures preferred
• Availability Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week, with possible overtime
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
