Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate at our Pittsburgh store. You will deliver a high-quality customer experience, engage with customers, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

You will ring purchases, promote loyalty programs, uphold merchandising standards, and support loss prevention efforts. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork to meet business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment
• Rings customer purchases/returns and handles cash according to procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for sales floor
• Supports store recovery and safety, participates in shrink reduction programs
• Adheres to labor laws and company policies
• Other duties as assigned
