Job summary

TESO Group in New York is seeking a Store Inspection Specialist to conduct spot checks, follow-up inspections, and alignment reviews of store operating standards. You will execute monthly inspections, verify checklists, and document findings with clear evidence.

Focus areas include visual merchandising, service, hygiene, checkout, stockrooms, inventory, product shelf life, shrinkage, and compliance with SOPs. You will escalate issues and drive corrective action with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in retail, operations or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in chain retail store operations/supervision.
• Knowledge of store operating standards and on-site management.

Responsibilities

• Store Inspection Plan Execution and monthly inspections.
• Verify checklist items and document findings with photos.
• Submit inspection reports and issue lists as required.
• Inspect visual merchandising, service, hygiene, checkout, stockrooms, inventory, and write-offs.
• Escalate significant issues to Loss Prevention / Audit Department.
• Summarize recurring issues for SOP improvements.
