Job summary

TESO Group, a New York–based Asian-inspired lifestyle retailer, seeks a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to manage product information, labeling, and UPCs across the product lifecycle. You will review packaging, ensure FDA and import compliance, and coordinate with design, procurement, and supply chain teams.

You will identify regulatory risks, coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, and document final review conclusions, maintaining accuracy for food, cosmetics, and general merchandise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in relevant fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of FDA labeling, nutrition facts, allergens, and import requirements.
• Excel, document organization, and version-control skills; able to manage regulatory files.

Responsibilities

• Manage product information, specifications, ingredients, materials, and warnings.
• Apply for, generate, and maintain UPC barcodes and registers.
• Review packaging copy, labels, and legally required declarations for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and implement laws and labeling requirements for FDA, cosmetics, and general merchandise.
• Review supplier documentation for import compliance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and supply chain to assess regulatory risks and drive closure.
