Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is a national gasoline and convenience retailer with 1,700+ stores. This role focuses on delivering fast, friendly service and ensuring accurate transactions at the register, while keeping the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with purchases, handling fuel transactions, and supporting the Store Manager to meet performance goals. Prior cashier experience and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Age requirements vary by state: 18+ generally; 19 in Indiana; 20 in Kentucky; 21 in several states listed.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees
