Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring a part-time Shift Lead in Houma, LA to deliver prompt, friendly service and manage daily tasks at the store. You will help customers, operate the POS, and maintain a safe, clean environment while supporting the Store Manager and the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months related job experience.
• Must be 18+ (19+ in some states).

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees
