Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to deal with customers, unanticipated problems or events using standard procedures.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to accurately operate a cash register and other equipment or tools.
• Ability to work in the physical and work conditions described.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to work opposite shifts of the Store Manager.
• Ability to have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and thanks customers, offers suggestions or recommendations.
• Rings up sales on cash register and handles payments.
• Operates fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions.
• Resolves routine customer concerns within guidelines.
• Follows dress and appearance code and reports to work on time.
• Monitors product areas for stocking and presentation.
