Murphy USA Inc. is hiring a part-time Shift Lead to support daily store operations in Van Buren, Arkansas. You will lead the team, ensure excellent customer service, assist with transactions, and help manage cash handling and merchandising.

Role offers opportunities for advancement, with daily pay eligibility and comprehensive benefits. The position requires 18+ (21+ in some states) and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reachingMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
