Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads in Cheraw, SC. You will mentor team members, ensure smooth store operations, and deliver fast, friendly service to customers fueling loyalty and trust.

Responsibilities include handling transactions at the register, resolving questions, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting the Store Manager to meet daily goals. A recent high school diploma or GED and 3 months cashier experience are required, with valid driver’s license and reliable

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience
• Resolve customer requests and concerns
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operate cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support Store Manager in operations
• Lead team to exceed performance goals
• Perform duties as assigned
• Backup duties when management is absent (paperwork, inventory, training)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
