Job summary

Murphy USA in Panama City, FL, is hiring a part-time Shift Lead to provide prompt, courteous service and support daily store operations. You will help lead the team toward performance goals and back up management as needed.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 3 months of cashier experience, and a valid driver's license. Duties include cash handling, inventory, and customer resolution, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age (19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky, 21 in several states)
• High school diploma / GED or 6 months related experience
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, courteous customer experience
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns
• Operate cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support Store Manager in all store operations
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals
• Perform duties as assigned
• In manager's absence, back up duties including paperwork, problem solving, video reviews, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product counts, equipment maintenance, and training new employees

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer’s requests and concerns
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
