Job summary

Murphy USA in Ludington, MI is hiring for part-time Shift Leads to support daily store operations and lead teams during shifts. You will provide friendly customer service, operate the register, manage stock, and help the Store Manager meet performance goals. Physical duties and flexible hours are required.

Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 months of cashier experience, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Store location: 4888 W.

• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job-related duties as assigned.
• Backup duties in the absence of management, including paperwork and training new employees.

Responsibilities

• Performing job-related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
