Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is seeking part-time Shift Leads to join our team at Store Address: 3039 E Jackson Blvd, 63755. This role supports the Store Manager, leads daily operations, and ensures a high level of customer service and store integrity.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are at least 18 years old, with cashier experience and reliable transportation. Promotion potential exists with quick advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related job experience or a high school diploma/GED.
• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in IN, 20+ in KY, 21+ in several states).
• Requires minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Lead the team to exceed performance goals.
• Perform daily/monthly paperwork and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
