Murphy USA Inc. in Hernando, MS, is hiring immediately for a part-time Shift Lead to empower a busy convenience store. You will greet customers, handle transactions, help stock shelves, and support the Store Manager to meet daily goals.

This role requires at least a GED or high school diploma, 3 months cashier experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Murphy USA offers daily pay, health benefits, a 401(k), and growth opportunities.

• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Responding to and resolving customers' requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register and handling cash accurately.
• Ensuring fuel and merchandise are available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
• Performing job-related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management, providing backup duties including paperwork, problem resolution, and training new employees.

Responsibilities

• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
