Job summary

Murphy USA Inc is seeking part-time Shift Leads at our Greenville, MS location to deliver exceptional customer service and operate the store efficiently. You will help manage daily operations, assist customers, and support the store team to meet performance goals.

Ideal candidates have cash handling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and are able to work in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers opportunities for advancement and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel and merchandise are available.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support Store Manager in all store operations and lead the team toward goals.
• Perform daily/monthly paperwork, inventory ordering, and training as needed when management is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer’s requests and concerns
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
