An established industry player seeks a dedicated installation supervisor to oversee store setups, relocations, and renovations. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage vendor teams and ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications. This position is responsible for the complete installation of assigned new stores, relocations, expansions, renovations, or remodels.
The locations must reflect current fixturing (as per approved drawings), merchandising (following the latest Plan-O-Gram), equipment placement (including relocation and/or installation of POS, Satellite, Mix/Tint equipment), computer cabling, warehouse anchoring, POP/Visual Aids, Signs, and office setup. The role involves managing labor workers and store staff during fixture installation and overseeing the completion of remaining construction items on the punch-list provided by Division-Engineering. Contact store personnel prior to arrival to coordinate the next installation project.
Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company conducts criminal history reviews to ensure safety and protect its operations, reputation, and stakeholders.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma
Preferred: Bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: At least 2 years with Sherwin-Williams or in related construction/installation fields.
Preferred: 4+ years with Sherwin-Williams or similar fields.
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred: Mechanical or trade skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
50% or more of the time.
