Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Representative to maintain cleanliness and safety across the store, inside and out, while keeping customers welcome.

You will perform sanitation and maintenance tasks, stock sinks, collect trash, support food safety standards, and assist customers as needed, emphasizing reliability, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

This role supports Store Leaders and requires initiative and adherence to company SOPs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety procedures.
• Ability to take initiative and complete duties with little supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced store environment.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on helping shoppers.
• Willingness to take direction and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the store's cleanliness and safety with urgency and priority.
• Keep sinks stocked with towels, soap, and sanitizer.
• Clean trash and debris from the store grounds and flower beds.
• Follow the chemical program and organize maintenance stock.
• Communicate maintenance needs or issues to Store Leaders.
