Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Phoenix is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Team Member to uphold floor, seating areas, restrooms, and back-office cleanliness.

You will follow SOPs, support store programs, and assist various teams in maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment. The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Complies with safety regulations and health standards.
• Standing/walking 6–8 hours in an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains store landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
