Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes/markdowns
3. Balancing the register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
9. Providing customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with tasks per company policy
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
15. Assisting with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing theft, reporting incidents, and following operational policies
